If We

*If We* is a short film about missed connections, repetition, and the things that remain unsaid between two people.

The film follows a couple whose relationship becomes trapped within a repeating moment inspired by *About Time*. Each time the scene restarts, the male protagonist attempts to change the outcome by choosing different words and actions. However, despite his efforts, the conversation repeatedly falls apart. Misunderstandings accumulate, disappointment grows, and the female protagonist gradually loses hope. No matter how many times the moment is repeated, the relationship continues to move towards the same ending.

Drawing visual and emotional inspiration from *We Made a Beautiful Bouquet*, *About Time*, and *The Last 10 Years*, the project explores how love is shaped not only by grand gestures, but by everyday communication. The repeated time loop becomes a metaphor for the desire to rewrite the past and repair mistakes that can no longer be undone.

As the film progresses, the focus shifts from changing the outcome to accepting loss. In the final section, inspired by *The Last 10 Years*, the male protagonist reflects on life after the relationship has ended. What remains are not the alternative versions of the past he once imagined, but the memories of someone who is no longer there.

Through repetition, memory, and cinematic references, *If We* reflects on the limits of second chances and the human tendency to revisit moments we wish we could change.
